NBA: Chicago 104, New Orleans 93

CHICAGO, March 2 (UPI) -- Ben Gordon scored 27 points and the Chicago Bulls went on a late run Friday night to pull away from New Orleans, 104-93.

Luol Deng added 24 and Kirk Hinrich had 22 -- nine during a late 19-2 surge that decided the contest.

The Bulls have won two in a row and five of seven. They have beaten the Hornets three straight.

Chris Paul led New Orleans with 16 points and Bobby Jackson had 13. The Hornets led by five with 7:30 to play before Chicago took over the game.
