NBA: Dallas 106, Philadelphia 89

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki scored a game-high 24 points Sunday night as the Dallas Mavericks topped the Philadelphia 76ers, 106-89, for their seventh straight win.

The Mavericks held a 25-18 lead after the first, and built a 63-39 halftime advantage. The 76ers used a 13-2 run to come within 86-78 with 8:40 remaining, but could not get any closer.

Jason Terry had 16 points and 11 assists, Devean George and Josh Howard each scored 15, and Erick Dampier had 12 points and five rebounds. Nowitzki added 11 rebounds, seven assists and three steals for the Mavericks, who rose to 17-0 when holding opponents to 90 points or fewer.

Andre Iguodala led the 76ers with 21 points and nine rebounds, and Kyle Korver had 18 points and six rebounds. Andre Miller had 16 points, three rebounds and three assists, as Philadelphia lost for the third time in its last five games.
