NBA: LA Clippers 90, Philadelphia 89

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Elton Brand's jump shot with 23 seconds left Friday night was the key basket as the Los Angeles Clippers turned back Philadelphia, 90-89.

Sam Cassell led the Clippers with 22 points, four rebounds and six assists. Cuttino Mobley scored 17 points; Chris Kaman had 15 points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots; Brand had 12 points and eight rebounds; and Shaun Livingston added 11 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals to help the Clippers snap a three-game losing streak -- and get their first win in Philadelphia since 1995.

Andre Iguodala had 22 points and seven assists to lead the 76ers, who fell to 2-2 on a seven-game home stand. Kyle Korver had 15 points, three assists and five rebounds; Samuel Dalembert had 14 points and 15 rebounds; Joe Smith scored 12 points; while Andre Miller and Rodney Carney scored 12 points each for Philadelphia, which blew a 64-51 fourth quarter advantage.
