NBA: New York 151, Detroit 145 (3 OT)

NEW YORK, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Stephon Marbury had 41 points, five rebounds and eight assists Wednesday night as the New York Knicks posted a 151-145 triple-overtime victory over Detroit.

The Knicks overcame a 51-point effort by Richard Hamilton and got a game-tying jump shot by Channing Frye at the buzzer in the second overtime.

Eddy Curry had 33 points and seven rebounds, Jamal Crawford had 29 points and 11 assists, and Frye had 26 points and seven rebounds for the Knicks, who are 4-0 in overtime games this season and have won four of their last five games.

Nazr Mohammed had 18 points and 14 rebounds for Detroit. Chauncey Billups had 17 points and 10 assists, Carlos Delfino scored 16 points, and Antonio McDyess added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Pistons, who had a five-game winning streak snapped.

Crawford scored nine points in the third overtime.
