The trio has a one-shot lead over Sherri Steinhauer (67), who is alone in second place at 5-under 139.

"The fairways are pretty wide (and) you get your good breaks and bad breaks," Creamer said.

"I put myself in trouble a few times," said Sorenstam after one of her highest-scoring rounds ever at this event.

The two-time defending champion is 36 holes away from LPGA history.

If she wins again this year, it will be her sixth Samsung title.

Last week's winner, Lorena Ochoa (73), and Karrie Webb (69) are 4-under 140, to tie for fifth.
