CLEVELAND, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Kyle Orton passed for 141 yards Thursday night as the Chicago Bears beat Cleveland, 20-7.
Orton completed 13 of his 21 passes; Rex Grossman was 5-of-8 for 73 yards and one touchdown; P.J. Pope rushed for 69 yards and one touchdown on 15 carries; Airese Currie caught five passes for 58 yards; and Desmond Clark caught a 6-yard scoring pass from Grossman in the first quarter for the Bears (2-2).
Derek Anderson was 11-of-22 for 96 yards, one touchdown and one interception; Frisman Jackson made four catches for 40 yards and one touchdown; Jerome Harrison rushed for 32 yards on seven carries; and Jason Wright also rushed for 32 yards on seven carries for the Browns (2-2).
In Week One of the regular season, Chicago is at Green Bay on Sept. 10, and, on the same day, Cleveland is at home to New Orleans.
