SAN FRANSCISCO, Calif., Aug. 23 (UPI) -- An RBI triple by Eliezer Alonzo in the bottom of the seventh inning Wednesday gave San Francisco a 7-6 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Ray Durham hit a three-run homer; Pedro Feliz hit a two-run double; Barry Bonds had one run, two hits, and one RBI; Mark Sweeney scored twice; and starting pitcher Jason Schmidt had two hits for the Giants (62-65), who swept the three-game series and have won eight of their last 10 games.
The winner was Steve Kline (4-3).
Armando Benitez recorded his 16th save.
Chris Young hit a two-run homer; Stephen Drew had two runs, two hits, and one RBI; Eric Byrnes hit a two-run single; and Johnny Estrada had a hit and an RBI for the Diamondbacks (62-65), who have dropped four games in a row.
The losing pitcher was reliever Brandon Lyon (1-3).
Durham extended his hitting streak to 13 games.
