ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Greg Norton's leadoff home run in the bottom of the 10th inning Sunday afternoon gave Tampa Bay a 7-6 win over Boston.
Norton had two runs, two hits and the one RBI; Travis Lee, Ben Zobrist and Dioner Navarro also hit solo homers; and Zobrist had two hits and three RBI for the Devil Rays (47-65), who have won three of their last four games.
The winner was reliever Shawn Camp (4-0).
David Ortiz hit a solo home run in the fifth inning; Alex Cora had two hits and two RBI; Kevin Youkilis had two runs, two hits and one RBI; Manny Ramirez had one hit, to extend his career best hitting streak to 22 games; while Mark Loretta had a run and two hits for the Red Sox (65-45), who have lost three of four.
The loser was Julian Tavarez (2-4).
Ortiz set a team record with at least 40 homers in three straight seasons.
