MLB: Seattle 7, Cleveland 3

CLEVELAND, July 30 (UPI) -- Seattle used a four-run ninth inning Sunday afternoon to beat the Cleveland Indians, 7-3.

Raul Ibanez and Jose Lopez each hit two-run singles to drive in the four runs.

Lopez had one run, three hits and two RBI; Ibanez had one run, two hits and two RBI, Adrian Beltre had two hits and one RBI; Richie Sexson hit a solo homer and knocked in two runs; and Ichiro Suzuki had two runs and one hit for the Mariners (51-53), who have won three of their last four games.

The winner was reliever Jake Woods (3-1). J.J. Putz earned his 22nd save.

Travis Hafner had one hit and two RBI; Joe Inglett drove in a run; Grady Sizemore had two runs and one hit; and Ronny Belliard had two hits for the Indians (45-58), who have lost five of their last seven games.

The losing pitcher was Fausto Carmona (1-4).
