Mark Sweeney hit a two-run single, Omar Vizquel doubled in a run and Pedro Feliz added a run-scoring groundout for San Francisco.

Following the game San Francisco announced it traded reliever Jeremy Accardo to the Toronto Blue Jays for designated hitter Shea Hillenbrand and reliever Vinnie Chulk.
