MLB: Baltimore 7, Cleveland 4

CLEVELAND, July 8 (UPI) -- Melvin Mora and Ramon Hernandez drove in two runs each Saturday night as Baltimore beat the Cleveland Indians, 7-4.

Mora blasted a two-run homer; Hernandez hit a two-run double; and Miguel Tejada, Javy Lopez and Jeff Conine each had an RBI for the Orioles (40-49), who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Winner Erik Bedard (10-6) yielded one run and five hits in six innings with two walks and six strikeouts. Chris Ray recorded his 21st save.

Kelly Shoppach hit a solo homer and had three hits and two RBI; Victor Martinez had one run and three hits; and Travis Hafner had two hits for the Indians (40-46), who have dropped three of their last four games.

Losing pitcher Jeremy Sowers (1-2) was charged with seven runs and seven hits in 3 2/3 innings.
