MLB: L.A. Angels 14, Seattle 6

SEATTLE, July 4 (UPI) -- Juan Rivera had two home runs and five RBI Tuesday as the LA Angels of Anaheim defeated the Seattle Mariners, 14-6.

Ervin Santana (9-3) allowed six runs on six hits with six strikeouts in eight innings to move to 5-0 over his last six outings. Santana's last loss was May 31 against Minnesota.

Kendry Morales had two doubles and three RBI and Vladimir Guerrero two RBI for the Angels, who have four straight wins.

Orlando Cabrera had a run scored and an RBI to extend his streak of reaching base safely to 61 games, the longest such steak in the majors since 1960.

Raul Ibanez and Richie Sexson hit back-to-back home runs for the Mariners, losers of three in a row. Gil Meche was touched for five runs -- four earned -- on five hits in five innings.
