Jeong Jang captures the Wegmans Classic

PITTSFORD, N.Y., June 25 (UPI) -- With a 2-under 70 Sunday, Jeong Jang won the Wegmans LPGA Classic in Pittsford, N.Y., by one shot over Julieta Granada.

Granada (67) was in the clubhouse at 12-under 276 when Jang finished at 13-under 275 to win $270,000 -- and her first LPGA title since the Women's British Open last year.

"I think I'm more happy than the first win," Jang said. "I don't know why. I was more nervous than the first win (but) I was really nervous from the starting hole to the finishing hole. Everything was tough to me. I think after winning, everything makes me relax."

Brittany Lang (71) and Marcy Hart (69) tied for third place at 11-under 277. Mi Hyun Kim (72) was fifth at 10-under 278.
