MLB: Toronto 4, Baltimore 2

TORONTO, June 15 (UPI) -- Shea Hillenbrand hit a two-run single in the sixth inning Thursday afternoon, helping the Toronto Blue Jays to a 4-2 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

Eric Hinske hit a solo home run in the second inning and Reed Johnson scored two runs for the Blue Jays, who won the last three games of the four-game series with the Orioles.

It is the first three-game winning streak for the Blue Jays since mid-April.

Toronto starter Ted Lilly (6-7) scattered four hits over six scoreless innings with four walks and eight strikeouts to collect the victory. Toronto closer B.J. Ryan, a former Oriole, had three saves in the series to run his total for the season to 17.

Baltimore was already down 3-0 when it scored both its runs in the seventh. Brian Roberts hit a run-scoring single, Miguel Tejada hit a sacrifice fly and Luis Matos had a run and two hits for the Orioles.

Orioles starter Daniel Cabrera (4-3) surrendered three runs and five hits, including the Hinske homer and the Hillenbrand two-run single.
