MLB: Toronto 13, Tampa Bay 4

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., June 2 (UPI) -- Reed Johnson hit two home runs Friday night to help Toronto belt the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, 13-4.

Toronto, which scored nine runs in the ninth inning, had 15 hits in the contest.

Johnson had three runs, three hits, and four RBI; Shea Hillenbrand had a homer among his two runs, three hits and two RBI; Troy Glaus had two runs, three hits and one RBI; Gregg Zaun had two RBI; and Aaron Hill had one run, two hits and two RBI for the Blue Jays (30-23).

Toronto has won three of its last four games.

Winner Casey Janssen (4-3) gave up three runs and three hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Russell Branyan hit a two-run homer, and Ty Wigginton had one run and two hits for the Devil Rays (22-33), who have lost seven of their last eight games.

The loser was Seth McClung, who sank to 2-7.
