MLB: Toronto 3, Chi. White Sox 2 (11 inn.)

TORONTO, May 27 (UPI) -- Shea Hillenbrand hit a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning Saturday as Toronto edged the Chicago White Sox, 3-2.

Hillenbrand had two hits, both Frank Catalanotto and Gregg Zaun drove in a run, and Troy Glaus and Aaron Hill each had a run and a hit for the Blue Jays (27-21), who have won four of their last five games.

In relief, the winner was Scott Schoeneweis (1-0).

Joe Crede had a run and three hits, A.J. Pierzynski had a run and two hits, and Jose Uribe had two hits for the White Sox (31-17), who have lost their last two games following a three-game winning streak.

The loser was Jeff Nelson (0-1).

Chicago starter Jose Contreras, who has a personal 13-game winning streak dating back to last season, gave up a run and five hits in seven innings.
