EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., April 25 (UPI) -- Vince Carter scored 33 points Tuesday to lead the New Jersey Nets to a 90-75 win over the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal.
Richard Jefferson added 21 points and Nenad Krstic 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Nets, who snapped a seven-game playoff losing streak.

Jason Kidd had 11 rebounds and 13 assists as New Jersey evened the best-of-seven series. The two teams will meet for Game 3 on Thursday in Indiana.
Anthony Johnson had 17 points and six rebounds and Fred Jones 13 points and six rebounds for the Pacers, who saw their three-game winning streak snapped.
Indiana was playing without All-Star Peja Stojakovic, who missed the game with a sore right knee.
