NBA: Seattle 114, L.A. Clippers 98

LOS ANGELES, April 17 (UPI) -- Ray Allen had 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists Sunday night as Seattle beat the Los Angeles Clippers, 114-98.

Nick Collison had 19 points, five rebounds and three assists; Luke Ridnour had 17 points and seven assists; and Rashard Lewis added 15 points, three rebounds, five assists and three steals for the SuperSonics (34-46).

With its win, Seattle stopped a three-game slide.

Elton Brand had 22 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots; reserve Shaun Livingston had 18 points, three assists and two rebounds; while Sam Cassell added 12 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for the Clippers (46-34), who had won their previous two games.

With the loss, the Clippers sit one game behind idle Memphis in the race for the fifth seed in the Western Conference playoff race but could end up as conference's sixth seed.
