NHL: Los Angeles 6, Nashville 4

LOS ANGELES, March 26 (UPI) -- Alexander Frolov netted two goals in a span of 66 seconds in the third period Saturday as the Los Angeles Kings downed the visiting Nashville Predators, 6-4.

Sean Avery also scored in the Kings' three-goal third period. Lubomir Visnovsky added three assists. Eric Belander, Dustin Brown and Mark Parrish also scored. Netminder Mathieu Garon allowed four goals on 19 shots faced.

For Nashville, Paul Kariya scored twice and Mike Sillinger added a goal and two assists. Greg Johnson also scored. Goaltender Tomas Vokoun was peppered with 48 shots in all, including 19 in the third period.

The Kings ended 3-for-10 on the power play, while the Predators finished 1-for-4.
