NBA: Orlando 102, Seattle 89

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Dwight Howard had 23 points, 16 rebounds and two assists Friday night to help Orlando beat the Seattle Supersonics, 102-89, and break an eight-game skid.

Grant Hill added 19 points, four rebounds and two assists; reserve Carlos Arroyo had 18 points, four rebounds and four assists; DeShaun Stevenson had 14 points, six rebounds and two assists; and recently-acquired Darko Milicic had eight points, five rebounds and two blocked shots for the Magic (20-34), who have won only twice in their past 14 games.

Damien Wilkins had 21 points and six assists; newly-acquired Chris Wilcox added 20 points, five rebounds and two blocks; Luke Ridnour had 16 points, six assists and three rebounds; and Rashard Lewis had 14 points and four rebounds for the Sonics (21-35), who have won only once in their last 10 contests.

Orlando had a healthy 45-31 advantage in rebounding.
