PEBBLE BEACH, Calif., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Mike Weir shot a 3-under 69 Saturday to tie Arron Oberholser for the third-round lead of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
Weir and Oberholser (66) are at 17-under 199 and hold a six-stroke edge over their closest foe.
Luke Donald, the first-round leader, had a 71 Saturday and is alone in third place at 11-under 205.
Weir, the 2003 Masters champ, was bothered by a neck injury through much of 2005, dropping to 56th on the PGA Tour money list. He has not won since the 2004 Nissan Open.
Oberholser is winless on the PGA Tour but had two victories on the Nationwide Tour in 2002.
