Artest: 'I'll go anywhere.'

INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Indiana Pacers forward Ron Artest met with team president Larry Bird and CEO Donnie Walsh Wednesday a day after reportedly rejecting a trade to the Kings.

Artest, benched six weeks ago after publicly saying he wanted to be traded, discussed the team's talks with the Sacramento Kings for a one-for-one swap for Peja Stojakovic, the Indianapolis Star reported.

Artest said Tuesday night he would "do whatever my agent tells me to do." Wednesday he told reporters by phone, "I'll go anywhere," the Star said.

"Ron Artest did not want to be traded to Sacramento weeks ago, and he does not want to be traded to Sacramento now," his agency, Mark Stevens, told ESPN.
