NBA: Dallas 101, Seattle 98

SEATTLE, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Terry scored all of Dallas' 26 points in the fourth quarter to overcome home-court Seattle, 101-98, at KeyArena.

Nowitzki scored 14 of his 34 points in the fourth for Dallas, and also had 13 rebounds and seven assists for the Mavericks. Terry tallied 12 fourth-quarter points, hitting a pair of key three-pointers in the final two minutes, as Dallas pulled within one game of the San Antonio Spurs in the Southwest Division. Josh Howard ended with 20 points for Dallas.

Vladimir Radmanovic had 20 points and nine rebounds and Ray Allen had 19 points for the Sonics, who failed to hold on to a double-digit lead in suffering their second straight setback.
