Ed Rogers hit his first career homer for the reeling Orioles, who have dropped nine straight games.

Rodrigo Lopez (14-12) was pounded for six runs over just four innings in the loss.

Monday's game was scheduled to make up a contest postponed by rain June 29, and was almost rained out a second time. However, play started one hour and 26 minutes late.
