BALTIMORE, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- The Oakland Athletics hammered three home runs Sunday afternoon and completed a three-game sweep at Baltimore with a 10-3 rout of the Orioles.
Oakland, which has won five straight, got homers from Scott Hatteberg, who had three hits, Marco Scutaro and Mark Ellis.
Oakland is 17-3 in its last 20 road games.
Winner Danny Haren rose to 11-10. He yielded two runs and only three hits in seven innings with one walk and three strikeouts.
Melvin Mora hit two homers for Baltimore, which fell to a season-high seven games under .500 with its third straight setback. The Orioles have dropped eight of nine overall.
Losing pitcher John Maine fell to 1-1. In 4 2/3 innings, he surrendered three runs and six hits with three walks and one strikeout.
Baltimore relievers Tim Byrdak and Jorge Julio each gave up three runs.
