Annika leads her own tournament

MALMO, Sweden, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Annika Sorenstam fired a 5-under 67 Saturday to take the lead at the Scandinavian TPC.

Sorenstam, the host of the tournament, stands at 4-under 212 through three rounds.

Suzann Pettersen is one stroke behind at 3-under 213 after a 3-under 69 in the third round. Gwladys Nocera is alone in third place at 2-under-par 214 after a 71 Saturday.

Sorenstam, 34, took the lead with consecutive birdies at 17 and 18.

Natalie Gulbis carded a 3-under 69 to move into fourth place at 1-under-par 215. Patricia Meunier-Lebouc was joined in fifth at even-par 216 by Maria Hjorth and Carin Koch.

Second-round leader Liselotte Neumann ballooned to a 4-over 76 and fell into a tie for eighth with Helen Alfredsson at 1-over 217.
