MLB: Tampa Bay 6, Baltimore 2

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., July 24 (UPI) -- Jorge Cantu had three hits and one RBI Sunday as Tampa Bay beat the Baltimore Orioles, 6-2.

Damon Hollins added three hits and scored two runs and Carl Crawford hit a two-run homer for Tampa Bay, which had 13 hits overall.

Winner Casey Fossum (5-8) allowed two runs and only three hits in 6 1/3 innings with one walk and six strikeouts.

Loser Erik Bedard dropped to 5-2. He allowed three runs and nine hits in six innings with one walk and six strikeouts.

Sammy Sosa and Sal Fasano each homered for the Orioles, who have lost five in a row and seven of eight. Sosa has 585 career home runs and is one shy of Washington Manager and former Oriole Frank Robinson on the all-time list.
