MLB: Chi White Sox 10, Tampa Bay 8

CHICAGO, July 5 (UPI) -- A grand slam and six RBI from Jermaine Dye led the Chicago White Sox to a 10-8 win over Tampa Bay at U.S. Cellular Field.

Juan Uribe added a solo homer and ended with two RBI for the White Sox, who have won five of their last seven games.

For Tampa, Aubrey Huff was 2-for-5, including a three-run homer, and drove in four runs. Nick Green and Carl Crawford each added a solo homer in the loss.

Hideo Nomo (5-7) was hammered for eight runs on eight hits over just four-plus frames to lose for the first time since June 10.

Luis Vizcaino (3-2) relieved Brandon McCarthy and got the win. Vizcaino pitched two scoreless innings and allowed only one hit while striking out one.
