ANAHEIM, Calif., June 18 (UPI) -- Vladimir Guerrero hit two home runs Saturday, including a game-winner in the 10th inning, to give the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim a 2-1 win over Florida.
Guerrero now has 10 homers for the season.
The winning pitcher was Frankie Rodriguez, who raised his record to 2-1, pitching two innings of scoreless relief.
Loser Todd Jones dropped to 1-2. He surrendered the winning home run leading off the bottom of the 10th.
The Angels derailed the bid by Florida starter Dontrelle Willis to become baseball's first 12-game winner of the season. He yielded 10 hits and no runs over seven innings with one walk and four strikeouts.
Angels starter John Lackey had seven strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings with three walks. Lackey yielded six hits and one run.
Luis Castillo had three hits for Florida. The Angels' Darrin Erstad extended his hitting streak to 18 games.
