MLB: Chicago 4, Detroit 3

DETROIT, April 21 (UPI) -- A two-run single by Scott Podsednik in the seventh inning Thursday lifted the Chicgo White Sox to a 4-3 win over Detroit.

Chicago starter Mark Buehrle (3-1) was the winning pitcher. He surrendered three runs on six hits with one walk and four strikeouts.

Paul Konerko and Jermaine Dye each had an RBI for the White Sox, who have won four in a row.

Detroit loser Jeremy Bonderman (2-2) gave up four runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 innings. He walked two and fanned four.
