MLB: Philadelphia 10, St. Louis 4

ST. LOUIS, April 9 (UPI) -- Gavin Floyd allowed one run over seven innings Saturday and Pat Burrell blasted a three-run homer, giving Philadelphia a 10-4 win over St. Louis.

Floyd gave up a single to Albert Pujols in the opening inning and then set down 19 batters in a row. He surrendered three hits and struck out two in the fifth start of his career.

Burrell went four for five with five RBI. He has 11 base hits in his first 20 at bats this season.

Chase Utley and Bobby Abreu contributed home runs for the Phillies, who had lost three straight.
