MLB: NY Yankees 18, Toronto 6

TORONTO, Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Tony Clark had three homers and five RBI and Ruben Sierra had a grand slam and five RBI Saturday as the New York Yankees trounced Toronto, 18-6.

Clark hit a three-run homer in the sixth, a solo shot in the eighth and another solo blast in the ninth for the Yankees, who have won five of their last six games. Gary Sheffield hit a solo homer and had three RBI and Alex Rodriguez added a solo homer in the win.

Sierra's homer was the 300th of his career.

Kevin Brown (10-3) earned the win after permitting four runs and six hits over seven innings.

Reed Johnson had three RBI for the Blue Jays, who have dropped five straight contests.

Ted Lilly (9-9) took the loss after giving up seven runs and five hits over just 5 1/3 innings while walking four and striking out seven.
