Victor Martinez had a game-tying homer in the top of the ninth for the Indians, which saw a four-game win streak come to an end. Cleveland's Casey Blake was 3-for-4 with a triple and a run scored.

Cleveland reliever Rafael Betancourt retired the first two hitters in the bottom of the ninth before Timo Perez singled to keep the inning alive. Davis drove Betancourt's pitch into the right-center field gap and Perez came from first with the winning run, sliding underneath Martinez's tag.
