MASON, Ohio, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Andy Roddick and Andre Agassi advanced to a semifinal confrontation Friday with wins at the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters.
Roddick, the defending champion, coasted past Tommy Haas in the quarterfinals 6-3, 6-3. It was the 25th victory in 27 matches for Roddick, who hopes to advance to his fifth straight final.

Agassi, who has beaten Roddick in four of their five meetings, outdueled Carlos Moya 7-6 (14-12), 6-3. Agassi has not won a tournament in 16 months.
The other semifinal will send Lleyton Hewitt against Tommy Robredo.
Hewitt defeated Marat Safin 6-4, 6-4. Robredo ousted Fabrice Santoro 6-2, 6-3.
