MLB: Texas 3, Kansas City 2

KANSAS CITY, Mo., April 27 (UPI) -- R.A. Dickey pitched six innings and the bullpen escaped a pair of jams as the Texas Rangers held on Tuesday for a 3-2 win over the Kansas City Royals.

Texas entered Wednesday as the only team in the major leagues batting above .300 at .317. But pitching has also been responsible for the solid start of the Rangers.
