NEW YORK, March 26 (UPI) -- Stephon Marbury scored 21 of his 38 points in the second half Friday night as New York defeated Toronto, 108-101.

Marbury was 13 of 22 from the field, 11 of 11 from the foul line and he dished out nine assists. It was his seventh 30-point game as a Knick.

He had 12 points in the fourth quarter, during which the Knicks turned a four-point deficit into an 85-79 lead with a 12-2 run.

The Knicks again played shorthanded as Tim Thomas and Penny Hardaway sat out with groin injuries. Allan Houston, bothered by a bruised left quadriceps, played the first eight minutes but left and did not return.

Marbury, however, got plenty of help from New York's bench, which outscored Toronto's reserves, 40-2. DerMarr Johnson scored 15 points and Moochie Norris added 11.

Kurt Thomas had 14 points and eight assists for the Knicks, who have beaten the Raptors seven straight times at Madison Square Garden.
