NHL: Calgary 2, Anaheim 1

CALGARY, Alberta, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Defenseman Jordan Leopold and Jarome Iginla scored power-play goals Friday night as Calgary posted a 2-1 victory over Anaheim.

Although they are in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race, the Flames have struggled on the power play this season. They entered with the 18th-ranked power play and scored twice with the man advantage in a game for just the 11th time this season.

However, the Flames have scored twice on the power play in each of their three meetings with the Ducks this season. In this one, they took advantage of some early penalty calls and hung on.

Leopold ended a 26-game drought with his sixth goal with 2:11 remaining in the first period. During a five-on-three, Iginla doubled the lead just over five minutes inro the second.

In his second game since returning from a knee injury, Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 24 shots.
