NHL: Dallas 3, San Jose 1

DALLAS, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Jere Lehtinen had a goal and an assist and Marty Turco remained unbeaten against San Jose Friday night as Dallas rallied for a 3-1 victory.

Entering the game with five wins in as many lifetime decisions against San Jose, including a 3-0 shutout on Jan. 13, Turco fell behind 7 1/2 minutes into the second period.

But the All-Star shut the door afterward, allowing his teammates to come back and extend their unbeaten streak to five games (4


1).

Brenden Morrow was credited with his 12th goal with 2:59 left in the second, evening the game at 1-1. Lehtinen snapped the tie with 2:49 remaining in the third with his eighth of the season and Stu Barnes sealed the win with an empty-netter.

Turco improved to 6-0 against San Jose while lowering his goals-against average vs. the Sharks to 1.16.
