LOS ANGELES, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Ladislav Nagy scored with 70 seconds left in regulation Thursday night as Phoenix and the Los Angeles Kings played to a 4-4 tie.
The Coyotes rallied from a three-goal deficit while the Kings had a four-game home winning streak snapped.
Phoenix pulled goaltender Brian Boucher for an extra attacker, a move that paid off when Nagy got a pass from Daymond Langkow in the right corner and skated to the bottom of the faceoff circle before snapping a shot over the left shoulder of goalie Cristobal Huet.
Nagy also set up power-play tallies by Jan Hrdina and Jeff Taffe. He has just two goals in the last nine games but still leads the team with 15.
Kings' defenseman Mattis Norstrom had a goal with 4:54 left in the third period to end a 113-game drought and give Los Angeles a 4-3 lead. The Kings have earned points in seven of their last eight games (4-1-1-2).
