TORONTO, May 27 (UPI) -- Roy Halladay recorded his sixth win of the month with his first complete game of the season Tuesday night as the Toronto Blue Jays tied the team record for May victories with a 5-1 triumph over the Chicago White Sox.

The Blue Jays, the highest-scoring team in baseball, are 19-6 this month - matching their win total from May 1984. They have won six straight games and have four games left to establish a new mark.

Halladay (6-2), who went 0-2 in his first six starts, has won all of his starts this month, allowing just 16 runs in 44 2/3 innings. He joins Roger Clemens as the only pitchers in franchise history to win six games in any month.

The 26-year-old righthander allowed just one run and seven hits in his first complete game since June 18, 2002. He struck out seven and issued one walk.

Carlos Delgado had three hits and scored twice and Vernon Wells had a run-scoring double for the Blue Jays, who have scored 87 runs in their last 12 games.

Chicago ace Bartolo Colon (5-4) surrendered five runs and nine hits in eight innings in his first start following a five-game suspension.
