Oakland 3, Detroit 1

DETROIT, May 13 (UPI) -- Miguel Tejada had a tie-breaking two-run double in the seventh inning Tuesday nught to support a strong outing from Ted Lilly as the Oakland Athletics posted a 3-1 victory over the Detroit Tigers.

Tejada entered batting just .208 and was 1-for-14 against Detroit this season. But the one hit was a leadoff homer in the bottom of the 11th inning on April 22 that gave the Athletics a 6-5 victory.
