Cincinnati 6, Tampa Bay 5

SARASOTA, Fla., March 11 (UPI) -- Adam Dunn and Ken Griffey, Jr. homered and Ryan Dempster pitched six solid innings Tuesday as the Cincinnati Reds edged the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, 6-5.

Griffey hit his fifth homer and Dunn his third off loser Seth McClung in a three-run sixth inning. Dunn drove in three runs and scored twice and Jose Guillen had a pair of hits for the Reds.

Dempster got his second win, allowing three runs and eight hits while striking out three without a walk. Jimmy Anderson went the final three innings, giving up a pair of runs and five hits to post the save.

Damian Rolls homered and leadoff hitter Marlon Anderson collected three hits for Tampa Bay.

Devil Rays starter Jim Parque gave up two runs and four hits in four innings.
