Texas fell behind, 6-5, in the third, but Texiera led off the fourth with his first homer of the exhibition season, which sparked a five-run inning.

Rodriguez had three hits and drove in five runs and Gonzalez had two hits and two RBI.

Things did not start off well for the Rangers. Starter Chan Ho Park had his second straight sub-par outing and was roughed up for six runs and four hits in 2 2/3 innings.

Park, who has surrendered 11 earned runs and 10 hits in his first two spring outings, allowed a two-run homer to Dee Brown and a three-run shot to Aaron Guiel in the first inning.
