Atlanta 3, Florida 3 (OT)

ATLANTA, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Olli Jokinen scored with 87 seconds left in a dominant third period Wednesday night as the Florida Panthers rallied from a three-goal deficit for a 3-3 tie with the Atlanta Thrashers.

Jokinen capped Florida's three-goal third period by whacking the puck from the left side of the crease. It found its way through several bodies before trickling across the goal line.

Trailing, 3-0, Florida came back on goals by Kevyn Adams and defenseman Dan Boyle while outshooting the Thrashers, 22-2.

Defenseman Todd Reirden, Jeff Cowan and rookie Dany Heatley scored for Atlanta, which is winless in its last nine home games (0-6-3).

Panthers coach Mike Keenan rotated between starter Roberto Luongo and Trevor Kidd throughout and the duo combined for just 13 saves. But Florida moved to 4-4-1 since Keenan replaced Duane Sutter.
