ESI releases mobile military shelters

ATLANTA, Jan. 13 (UPI) -- U.S. company Emergency Shelters International announced the launch of a mobile shelter system designed to support military operations in remote environments.

ESI announced the release of its ESI Dome. The mobile tent system, designed for military applications, is a frameless shelter that can provide temporary housing or an operational base for soldiers in remote settings.

The dome can be set up and taken down by two persons. Additionally, officials say it is a strong system designed with molded fiberglass panels capable of offering troops shelter in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.

"The uses for these structures are endless," David Hunsucker, ESI owner, said in a statement.

"The versatility, portability and durability of these units, as well as their long-term affordability, make them attractive for diverse applications."
