'Extreme cutout' jeans feature little fabric, high price

May 3 (UPI) -- A $168 pair of "extreme cutout" jeans being sold by an online retailer feature large front pockets -- and very little else.

The Extreme Cut Out Pant, being sold by high-end online store Carmar, feature "large statement cutouts" -- fabric removed from the thigh and lower leg areas on both the front and back of the pants.

The jeans consist of thin strips of denim fabric roughly in the shape of a pair of pants.

The "relax fit" pants went viral on social media, with many questioning the large price tag, $168, for so little fabric, and others praising the designers for their creativity.
