Giraffe turns heads with stroll through Kenyan village

Feb. 26 (UPI) -- A French photographer living in Kenya captured video of the moment a wild giraffe wandered into a village and strolled down a road.

Photographer Nicolas Urlacher used his cellphone camera to capture video when the wild giraffe made an unexpected appearance in the middle of a village in the Lake Naivasha area.

The video shows some locals stopping to watch the giraffe or joining it in the road as escorts, while others appear unimpressed by the wild animal's presence.

Urlacher said it was an "only in Kenya" experience.
