Nov. 3 (UPI) -- A safari-goer in South Africa captured video of a baby elephant trying to play tough guy by intimidating a safari vehicle.

The video, recorded Wednesday in Kruger National Park, shows the elephant calf approaching the safari vehicle on a road through the park.

The elephant charges at the vehicle and slaps it on the hood with its trunk, but doesn't do any damage.

"This young male African elephant tried to show me and my guests how brave and strong he is," the filmer said. "Young elephants do this quite often, and many people will move away at the first sign of aggression from an elephant, but because I have studied animal behavior, and work in their environment daily, I could easily see that this young elephant will only be warning us and won't do actual damage."
