Family builds candy slot machine for trick-or-treaters

Nov. 2 (UPI) -- A New Mexico dad put a Vegas twist on trick-or-treating by creating a candy slot machine for neighborhood kids to use on Halloween.

Canton Becker of Santa Fe posted a video to YouTube showing the candy slot machine he and his kids built for trick-or-treaters to use.

Becker explained how the machine works.

"Kids 'pay' some of their own Halloween candy into the machine and play the game until they win," he wrote. "At a minimum, kids would get twice as much candy as they put in, and sometimes much, much more -- for example when winning the triple-clown jackpot."
