Crayfish escape plastic bag, run for freedom on subway train

Nov. 1 (UPI) -- A surprised passenger on a Singapore subway train captured video of a fellow commuter rounding up the crayfish that escaped from his plastic bag.

Natasha Genevieve Lee posted a video to Facebook showing the man scrambling to round up the loose crayfish running for freedom on the Mass Rapid Transit train.

Lee and other commuters can be heard laughing and pointing the man toward his fleeing crayfish.

"Now that's something you don't see everyday. He didn't know and almost had an empty plastic bag as his prawns made a run for the exit," Lee wrote.

She said the man in the video later informed her the crustaceans were crayfish, not prawns.
